Like Dragons, Far Cry 5 and more in December

Sony announced the latest lineup of games coming to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers in December. After a busy November, it’s another busy month for PS Plus, with 22 titles added in total. These games include various Far Cry titles (Far Cry 5, New Dawn, Primal), Yakuza (Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Yakuza 6), Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, Shadow or War, the classic Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus, and more.

Here are the new PS Plus Extra and Premium games, which will be available on December 20th…

WWE 2K22 (PS4)

WWE 2K returns with a redesigned gameplay engine and new controls. Play solo or against friends locally or online as the best and most realistic looking WWE Superstars and Legends. Take on not one, but single-player adventures from MyRise, featuring unique male and female storylines that let you choose your journey like never before. Call the WWE General Manager and take the reins on Raw, SmackDown, NXT or NXT UK and craft your ultimate roster, then compete against rival GMs to build the biggest brand in the WWE Universe. WWE 2K22 will be available to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members on January 3rd.

Far Cry 5 (PS4)

Far Cry New Dawn (PS4)

Join your fellow survivors and lead the fight against a new and dangerous threat, the Highwaymen, and their ruthless leaders, The Twins, as they seek to seize the last remaining resources. Far Cry Primal (PS4)

Conquer an innovative open world with breathtaking environments and unpredictable brutal encounters as the Far Cry series returns to the Stone Age. Play as Takkar, an experienced hunter and the last surviving member of your group. There is one goal: to survive in a world where you are the prey. Explore a chaotic new time period filled with unpredictable chaos, dangerous threats, and amazing stories.

Mortal Shell (PS4, PS5)

Mortal Shell is a gritty and deep action RPG that will test your safety and resilience in a shattered world. As the remnants of humanity wither and rot, impassioned enemies fester in the ruins. They are ruthless, and survival requires awareness, higher precision, and instincts. Track down the hidden holy places of loyal followers and discover your true purpose.

Referee (PS4, PS5)

From the team that brought you the critically acclaimed Yakuza series, play Takayuki Yagami, a disgraced lawyer turned private investigator as he works his way through Kamurocho’s secret crime network to investigate a series of gruesome murders in this psychological thriller. Track the suspects, discover the clues and present the evidence to the court. Take advantage of the two unique battle modes to defeat opponents in exciting confrontations.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon (PS4, PS5)

Level up from underdog to dragon in this action RPG. Yakuza 6: The Song of Life (PS4)

The epic conclusion of Kazuma Kiryu’s story sees the Dragon of Dojima take charge of an adoptive father as he seeks to protect his young ward Haruto and discover the mystery behind the evil attack on Haruto’s mother. Explore Onomichi, Hiroshima and with the help of some unexpected friends, delve into the ruthless criminal underworld, take on the clans searching for Haruto and find the answers you seek.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor (PS4)

Fight through Mordor and discover the soul-compelling truth in this third-person action adventure that chronicles a new chapter in the saga of Middle-earth. Discover the origins of the Rings of Power, build your legend, and ultimately confront the evil of Sauron.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War (PlayStation 4)

Evil Genius 2 (PS4, PS5)

Adventure Time Pirates of Enchiridion (PlayStation 4)

Ahoy! The Land of Ooo is underwater and it’s up to Finn and Jake to find out why. Join our heroes as they explore the high seas, search for hidden clues, and interrogate suspicious suspects. Upgrade your heroes, use items, spells, potions and unique ultimate hero abilities to battle villains in fast-paced tactical combat and puzzle-solving to save this waterlogged world!

Ben 10: Power Trip (PS4, PS5)

Don the Omnitrix and transform into Ben 10’s amazing aliens as you adventure and fight through an action-packed 3D world to stop the diabolical plans of a master wizard. Take on some of the deadliest enemies Ben has ever faced in exciting combat. Solve fun puzzles, use your skills to help the townspeople you meet, and collect power-ups to upgrade your aliens. Gigantosaurus (PlayStation 4)

Explore and race through the prehistoric world of Gigantosaurus. Play alone or with a friend, explore and solve puzzles…then take part in a fast-paced super rally to the finish line and the next zone.

Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire – Ultimate Edition (PS4)

Featuring a massive open world, a huge cast of characters, and a story you can play your way, the Ultimate Edition of the award-winning single-player RPG from the masters of Obsidian Entertainment includes all the major updates and expansions. The god Iothas has awakened from his sleep, and has broken out from under your castle, killing your people and stealing a piece of your soul. Ridge Racer 2 (PSP)

Enjoy awesome score-fuelled arcade racing in this enhanced version of the PSP classic. The game is full of racing courses to beat the rivals (and your best times) and cars to unlock. This emulated version of the classic PSP is enhanced with rendering, rewind, quick save, and custom video filters.

Heavenly Sword (PlayStation 3)

Ninja Theory’s third-person action-adventure tells a thrilling tale of revenge as Nariko embarks on a quest for revenge against the invading king and his army. However, time is against her, as the ancient Heavenly Sword that she was using to fulfill her mission not only gives her multiple attack options, but is also slowly draining her life force. Oddworld: Abe’s Exodus (PS1)

In this follow-up, Abe returns to the original Oddworld. Abe’s peaceful retirement is shattered when he is visited by a vision of Mudokon Spirit guides, learning that the Magog Cartel is mining Necrum, Mudokon’s sacred city of the dead, to gather bones to make the highly addictive SoulStorm brew. This version is enhanced with rendering, rewind, quick save, and custom video filters.

Pinball Heroes (PSP)

Have some exciting bouncy ball fun with addictive gameplay, simple controls and pinball tables to get your best scores. Each table is based on a different PlayStation franchise such as Uncharted and Hot Shots Golf. Keep your ball in play and activate all the special features of the table. This version is enhanced with rendering, rewind, quick save, and custom video filters.
