A potential minion in the Witcher series may want to return to Temeria in future entries in the series

The setting of the next entry in The Witcher is not revealed, but the narrative series would like to return to a well-known northern kingdom in the future.

Speaking with GamesRadar, the series’ narrative lead Philip Weber was asked where he would like the next entry in the series to be set. Although he wasn’t ready to say much, given how he’s currently working on the new saga, he said he’d like to return to Temeria and its capital, Vizima, to see what it’s like after the events of Wild Hunt. This is also one of the reasons why he is so happy to remake the original The Witcher.

“I always want to go back to Temeria and Vizima, and see what it looks like now. That’s why I’m so happy we’re doing a remake of The Witcher.”

While it’s not yet clear if the next entry in The Witcher series will return to Temeria, players will be able to return to its capital Vizima next week and experience it like never before, thanks to The Witcher 3’s next-gen update, which will bring a number of Visual improvements, as well as new camera settings promise to make the experience more immersive than ever.

The next entry in The Witcher series is currently in development and will be released on a release date yet to be confirmed. We’ll keep you posted on the game as soon as more come out, so stay tuned for the latest news.
