TUF Gaming A16 with Ryzen 7000 Processor and Radeon RX 7000 RDNA 3 Feature

ASUS has unveiled the next generation of its 2023 TUF gaming lineup which includes all AMD TUF Gaming A16 Advantage Edition laptops.

ASUS TUF Gaming 2023 Laptops Revealed: All-AMD TUF Gaming A16 Advantage With Ryzen 7000 CPU, RDNA 3120W Mobility GPU

ASUS unveils a total of 6 new TUF Gaming designs which include TUF Gaming F15/17, TUF Gaming A15/17 and TUF Gaming A16 Advantage Edition.

Starting with the ASUS TUF Gaming A16, the laptop will come with an AMD Ryzen 9 7000 CPU based on the Zen 4 core and will also feature an AMD Radeon 7000 RDNA 3 Mobility GPU with TGP up to 120W. This is basically a Radeon RX 7900M with 8GB of GDDR6 memory as the company states although no further information is provided.

In addition, the system will feature DDR5-4800 memory (capacities up to 64GB), a top-notch cooling solution with 7 heat pipes, an 84-blade Arc Flow fan, and 4 exhaust vents scattered around the laptop. The laptop will come in Off Black and Sand Storm color option.

This will be just an AMD Advantage design that uses SmartShift technology and features a 16-inch (16:10) display with up to QHD resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. But ASUS has two more TUF gaming laptops with AMD tech behind them. The TUF Gaming A15/17 will also come with an AMD Ryzen 9 7000 CPU but instead of using an RDNA 3 Mobility GPU, they’ll have up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX. 4070 GPU with TGP 140W. Most of the specifications will be compatible with your A16 laptop.

ASUS also has two TUF Gaming F15/17 models that will pair the latest 13th Gen Intel Raptor Lake-H series CPUs with GeForce RTX 40 GPUs from NVIDIA. These laptops will come with a Thunderbolt 4 (USB Type-C) I/O port and also get the same 90Whr fast charging capabilities. Both TUF Gaming A&F series will feature NVIDIA G-SYNC motherboards while the AMD Advantage edition laptop uses AMD Freesync technology.

Worth noting here is that ASUS hasn’t mentioned full specifications of AMD laptops yet, and this is due to the fact that AMD hasn’t officially revealed its Ryzen 7000 Mobility CPUs or RX 7000 Radeon RDNA 3 mobile GPUs.
