Pixelmator Pro is one of the most prominent editing apps on the Mac App Store and today, the platform has received a major update that brings video editing into the mix. Pixelmator Pro update brings key features – video editing support and more on Mac
As mentioned earlier, the popular Pixelmator Pro app for Mac has been updated to version 3.2 which brings video editing to the table. Some of the video editing features include trimming, cropping, adjusting colors, adding images, shapes, masks, and much more. For easier controls, the platform now includes new video controls on the drawing board that allow users to play, mute, rub, and more.
Other than that, Pixelmator Pro version 3.2 also brings support for new video and motion picture formats including MP4 and QuickTime Movie. Final output can be exported at variable quality with adjustable frame rate and a wide range of compression types including Apple’s ProRes. There is also a category of 4K movie title templates along with cinematic social media templates to create movie designs.
Users also have the option available to customize the templates and much more. Other improvements include the ability to open Live Photos as videos with support for the motion file format. The latest update is available for free for existing users and $19.99 for new customers as a 50 percent discount from $39.99.
