There are two big things about this release – first is the new Freeform app designed with creative collaboration in mind, and second, HomeKit gets a huge improvement that makes everything faster than before.
To download macOS 13.1 Ventura right now, all you need to do is launch System Settings from the Apple menu at the top. Now click on General and then Software Update. Wait a few seconds and the new 13.1 update will appear here. This may take some time and several attempts if it is too early to download the update.
Your Mac will restart during the entire installation process which will make it completely unusable during this time. Make sure not to turn it off or close the lid while this is happening.
We highly recommend that you download and install the latest version of macOS now if you have HomeKit mode at home. There’s nothing better than a software update that makes smart home devices more responsive the more you interact with them. This new update guarantees speed and reliability in this regard – how can you refuse that!
