A new trailer for Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis was shared online today, providing a fresh look at the upcoming retelling of the full story for the seventh entry in the series that launches on an as-yet-unconfirmed date on iOS and Android.
The new Winter Trailer, which can be viewed below, showcases a lot of familiar sequences from the original game as well as a couple from FFVII – Crisis Core, which will launch Reunion, Reunion, tomorrow worldwide on PC and consoles. The trailer also provides a look at some of its gacha elements, such as characters with alternate costumes and looks, like Aerith in a wedding dress and what Sephiroth looks like as a teen.
The new trailer for Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis also confirms that a closed beta will happen sometime during the summer of 2023, which was later announced in the previous trailer shared a few months ago.
Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis is currently in development for iOS and Android, and will launch as a free game with in-app purchases on a yet to be confirmed release date. We’ll let you know exactly when the game launches in all regions as soon as possible, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
