The 13th Gen Intel Core i5-1350P CPU delivers a slight increase in performance over the 12th Gen

The Intel Core i5-1350P CPU, which is designed for low-power and lightweight laptops, has been leaked online in recent Geekbench tests. This is the second processor from Intel that has been circulating online over the past month. The previous Intel Core i7-1370P processor was leaked in a separate Geekbench test which can be seen here.

Intel Core i5-1350P CPU Performance Leaks, The 13th Generation Delivers A Negligible 8% Performance Increase Over The 12th Generation

An Intel Core i5-1350P processor has been spotted inside the Acer TravelMate P614-53 laptop, which offers 12 cores and 16 threads. This laptop has base clocks of 1.9GHz and 4.7GHz respectively and is equipped with 12MB of L3 cache. Compared to the Core i5-1250P, that’s a 300MHz higher boost all while keeping the same TDP numbers of 28W (PL1) and 64W (MTP).

The new Raptor Lake Core i5-1350P laptop CPU of the Raptor Lake series scored 1686 in single-core and 8980 in multi-core tests. The previous version of this processor, the Intel Core i5-1250P, showed similar numbers, with single-core tests at 1,549 and multi-core tests at 8,582 points. Running the numbers, the new chip delivers a performance increase of 5% in single tests and 8% in multi-core tests.

This isn’t a huge performance gain unlike the rest of the Raptor Lake chips which bring improved multi-core performance and more cache to the table. With that being said, Intel may have a pricing advantage up its sleeve but that is not yet clear.
