Reference graphics card AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX listed on Amazon France for 1,319 euros

AMD’s Radeon RX 7900 XTX is listed at €1,319 on Amazon France and is about 40% more expensive than MSRP.

AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX reference model listed at 40% above MSRP on Amazon France

With only 3 days left until the launch, Amazon France has decided to list Sapphire’s AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX graphics card. The listing shows a price of 1319 EUR which converts to 1391 USD. Keep in mind that this is a reference model which means it does not have custom cooling or factory overclocking. It is supposed to work according to AMD “MBA” board specification and design.

Taking into account the VAT of around 20% for Europe, the price should end up around $1200 USD but instead of being 20% higher, the price is 40% higher than the MSRP. There have been rumors that AMD’s initial supply won’t maintain MSRP for much longer and prices are expected to see spikes in the coming days, especially when custom boards that are said to be very expensive come out.

Compared to other graphics cards such as the GeForce RTX 4080 against which the Radeon RX 7900 XTX is positioned, the reference variant is around €230 cheaper than Palit’s dedicated GameRock OC model. There’s no reference price model listed, but until then, we should expect a €200 price difference between the RTX 4080 and the RX 7900 XTX.
