Pre-orders for the Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection are available now

The various Mega Man Legacy collections have made the classic series more accessible on modern hardware, such as the Mega Man X Legacy Collection. Earlier this year, it was revealed that Mega Man Battle Network is getting its own Legacy collection, bringing Game Boy Advance titles to existing hardware.

A couple of months ago, online group functionality was confirmed, bringing combat and trading to places like the PlayStation Network, for example. Earlier today, though, some additional information was revealed for the upcoming collection, which we’ll break down now.

First, a new trailer was released earlier today, which you can watch below.

Secondly, pre-orders are available for both parts of the collection. You can buy them both for $59.99, and each part is available separately for $39.99 on April 14th. Pre-ordering the collection brings some unique features, including the following:

    • Customizable PET in the menu for each collection (Hub Style for Legacy Collection, Dark MegaMan for Legacy Collection 2)
    • Four new special formats for music from the series featured in the show
  • Additionally, a note from the developer: Volumes 1 and 2 cannot be ordered separately.

Third, fifteen promotional limited-time Battle Chips from exclusive events in Japan will be available to search for and trade in the game. In addition, Capcom will be streaming the first two seasons of the Mega Man NT Warrior animated series on Twitch and uploading to YouTube in early 2023. As a last and smallest detail, both groups’ online features will also include passwords for Private Battles, allowing you to battle your friends in Unofficial matches outside the ranking ladder.
