The OnePlus 11 isn’t the only thing the company launched today, as we now have our hands on the OnePlus Buds Pro 2. These true wireless earbuds come in a color scheme identical to the phone and are an upgrade over the previous generation but let’s see what’s new on the table.
The OnePlus Buds 2 Pro brings something called Dynaudio tuning; The company claims that these will provide a better listening experience.
The OnePlus Buds 2 Pro are designed to deliver better overall sound quality in a familiar yet secure design
Taking it apart, we find an 11mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter which should provide better sound overall. The company calls these drivers “MelodyBoost” and claims that they will provide rich bass without making it overpowering. In simpler words, you can enjoy all the frequencies in a track without one overpowering the other.
The design of the OnePlus Buds 2 Pro remains unchanged; The earphones still have a stem-like design. Fortunately, this is not the case with masonry. OnePlus decided to use a crystal polymer diaphragm for each subwoofer dome, and there’s also a separate dome and rim design.
According to the company, the reason for this is that the audio performance will be better, especially on the low and mid side. If you know how phonics works, this sounds like a perfect app, but we can’t give you a proper answer until you’ve tested it.
Finally, the OnePlus Buds 2 Pro have silicon inside the speaker for better low frequency response. The earbuds will have your standard set of equalizers to fine-tune the sound further.
The new earbuds will be available in green and black. Unfortunately, pricing and a release date are still unclear, but at the time of writing these are only for China, with a global release happening next month.
