New Splatoon 3 update 2.1.0 is published; Focuses on battle adjustments along with several fixes

Splatoon 3 2.1.0 update is rolling out globally, and this brand new patch focuses on battle tweaks as well as fixing various bugs.

The new update should automatically download to your Switch if this option is enabled. Of course, it is also possible to manually download this new patch via the game’s update menu. As said, Update 2.1.0 focuses on battle-related modifications. As such, it packs several changes to the main weapons as well as mods to increase the appearance of the special weapons.

  • Fixed an issue in recovery where when playing with a timer and the player was sprayed, the countdown number would not be displayed.
  • Fixed an issue where after failing to save job history in the Grizzco terminal, the list of completed jobs would not display correctly.
  • Fixed an issue in stores where after pressing certain buttons at the same time, some controls would not work.

The next update for Splatoon 3 will focus on introducing new features. Additionally, this update will include weapon tuning for the start of the new season in March. According to the developers, this next update is planned for the end of the current season.
