MSI will bring Non-K BCLK OC capabilities back to upcoming MAG B760 motherboards such as the B760M Mortar Max WIFI.
MSI B760 Motherboards Confirmed to Include Intel 12th and 13th Non-K BCLK OC, Core i5-12400 Overclocked to 5 GHz On B760M Mortar MAX
There have been a variety of MSI B760 leaks we’ve covered over the past few weeks ranging from images, PCB leaks, to yesterday’s leaked pricing. right Now, chi11eddog An Intel Core i5-12400 Non-K CPU overclock on a MAG B760M Mortar Max WIFI motherboard has come to our attention.

The MSI MAG B760M Mortar MAX WIFI motherboard is one of the many Intel B760 motherboards that the manufacturer will release in early January. The MAX series is especially known for offering some additional capabilities such as Non-K BCLK OC which we also got in the B660 MAX series as well. According to the leak, the MSI MAG B760M Mortar Max WIFI comes with a Renesas RC26008 clock generator that will allow users to manually set BCLK on Intel 12th and 13th Gen CPUs.
The leaker shows us a render of the MSI MAG B760M Mortar Max WIFI motherboard which has an Intel Core i5-12400 CPU clocked at 5.00GHz achieved by pushing the BCLK to 125.00MHz. The stock CPU runs at 4.4GHz so that’s a nice +600MHz OC which should result in better overall performance.

The MSI B760M Mortar MAX WIFI will come in both DDR5 and DDR4 variants, priced at $229 and $219, respectively. These are good prices for motherboards and are definitely a plus if you want to get your hands on 12th and 13th generation Intel processors and overclock them a bit with manual overclocking. You can also save some cash and go for the current B660M Mortar Max WIFI motherboard that’s on retail shelves for $199 but remember that newer B760M Mortar Max motherboards come with slightly better connectivity and I/O options.
Intel B760 motherboards and 13th Gen Non-K CPUs will be available in the first week of January, just a week before the launch of the AMD Ryzen 7000 Non-X CPU.
