Max Payne with RTX looks amazing in all-new screenshots

The release of Portal RTX allowed users to start working on another remaster with RTX Remix. Among those projects is Max Payne With RTX, which comes out pretty cool, judging by some new screenshots shared online.

New screenshots shared on Twitter by the project developer @employeeShowcasing the amazing lighting improvements featured in the project. Unfortunately, the developers do not yet have access to the AI ​​Texture Super Resolution tool, so the textures have not yet been optimized, but even with the old one, it cannot be denied that the project looks impressive.

While work continues on Max Payne with RTX, Remedy Entertainment, the developer behind the Alan Wake and Control series, is currently working on remastering the first two entries in the Rockstar Games series. The two games will be combined into one and will be powered by the studio’s Northlight game engine. The remake will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S on a yet to be confirmed release date.

Remedy will develop a Max Payne remake as a single title for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X| S using its own Northlight game engine. The game’s development budget will be funded by Rockstar Games, and its size will be in line with the production of a typical Remedy AAA game. Under the agreement, Remedy has a royalty opportunity after Rockstar Games recovers its development, marketing, and other costs of distributing and publishing the game.
