Lost Ark early 2023 roadmap includes Witcher crossover event, new continent, class, and massive PvP mode

Today, Smilegate RPG and Amazon Games published a preview of the early Lost Ark roadmap for 2023. The popular MMOARPG’s new year kicks off with The Witcher crossover event in January.

The beautiful island festivities are interrupted by a mysterious maelstrom. Unraveling mysteries will lead to encounters with iconic characters from The Witcher on a brand new island and in new event missions! New Witcher-themed cosmetics will be available in the shop, and new character customization scars, cards, Stronghold structures, emojis (and more) await adventurers who get in on the action.

The January update is also said to include quality of life improvements for guild systems, guild PvP, Una quests, and more. The following month, Lost Ark will celebrate the game’s one-year anniversary for the first time in Western countries. The event will feature the addition of the PvP-focused continent called Rowen.

After the disappearance of a thriving ancient civilization, Ruen was forgotten from the history of Arcacia. However, when rumors spread about the abundant scarlet gems covering the land, the factions that craved the jewels began to mass their forces in Rouen.

At the end of Rowen’s world missions, a faction can be selected for PvP in the open world. The neutral Earth Eliabek has lost balance, and now Earth is divided into two rival factions: Brighili and Libertans. You must choose a side and participate in the war for Roen. Once you choose a faction, you will enter PvP mode against the opposing faction. Faction ranks are divided into 15 levels and can be earned by participating in activities to gain faction experience, such as killing members of the opposing faction and participating in daily, weekly, and cooperative missions.

In March, the Lost Ark’s PvP faction war will intensify with the release of the massive Tulubik Battlefield, featuring 96 players (48 per side) with secondary objectives and bases to capture. Finally, April will see the launch of the Artist class (belonging to a brand new archetype, the Specialists), as well as the addition of the Brelshaza Hard Mode Raid and Hanumatan Guardian Raid.
