A new major update for Elden Ring titled Colosseum will be released tomorrow on all platforms and is dedicated to player versus player (PvP) combat in arenas.
Come warriors, enjoy the glory of the Colosseum.
Limegrave, Lyndel and Kaelid’s Colosseum will open its doors, allowing players to participate in battles such as duels, free-for-alls and team battles.
Prove your worth in the free Colosseum update.
The Elden Ring Coliseum was first discovered by a data worker in late April. At that time, all data operators were sure that the content that could appear again at a later time was cut off.
While the addition of the Colosseum will certainly be of interest to many Elden Ring players, most of them are waiting for a suitable DLC expansion to be announced. Some are hoping it will happen at The Game Awards in just a couple of days. The game will also attempt to win Game of the Year at the show, though it will face stiff competition there.
Regardless, it is by far the best-selling game made by FromSoftware (over 17.5 million units sold). The studio also received investment from Sony and Tencent a few months ago, though an offer drafted by GamesIndustry revealed below-average wages for FromSoftware employees.
