Color has decided to leak its GeForce RTX 4070 Ti dedicated graphics card ahead of its launch next month.
Colorful GeForce RTX 4070 Ti BattleAx Deluxe dedicated graphics card leaked, specs confirmed
Yesterday, Color decided to go live with their product page for the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti BattleAx Deluxe graphics card. Not only did the product page give us our first look at the graphics card, it also confirmed the specs we’ve been hearing for a few months, and the card is actually just a variant of the 12GB GeForce RTX 4080.

The BattleAx Deluxe colorful variant of the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti graphics card uses a triple-fan cooler and a three-slot design. The card has a recessed heatsink that extends away from the PCB and so does the back plate. The card will use a dedicated PCB which will receive power through a single 16-pin power input and will have a 285W TDP. Color listed the same reference base clock of 2310MHz for the card, so we can also assume a 2610MHz boost clock unless there is an OC BIOS on this variant.

While the Color doesn’t list any other details like a launch date or pricing, we do know that the card will hit retail shelves on January 5th, which we already confirmed and also got confirmation from an Italian retailer recently.
“Official” NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti 12GB Specs (Now Canceled)
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti will use an “Ada Lovelace” AD104-400 GPU configuration with 7680 cores or 60 SMs enabled which is a full fat SKU. The GPU will pack 48MB of L2 cache and feature a 192-bit bus interface, which is why we get up to 12GB of GDDR6X capacities. The memory is said to run at 21Gbps for a memory bandwidth of 504GB/s. The card is said to be clocked at 2610MHz but the peak frequency will be higher.
- “Official” NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti 12GB Graphics Card TBP – 285 watts
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 8GB TBP “Official” – 290 watts
In terms of power, the TBP is now set to be rated at 285W which is a 35W drop versus the RTX 3080 10GB model and a 5W drop from the RTX 3070 Ti. The new graphics card is expected to perform better than the RTX 3080, but looking at specs beyond the 4080 16GB, there will be a significant gap between both models of about 30-40%.

The bigger question is whether NVIDIA will use the same $899 US price for its graphics card or lower the price a bit. We know from benchmarks that the GeForce RTX 4080 12 GB was on par with the RTX 3090 Ti and faster in a few cases when using RT or DLSS. AMD promises gains of up to 40-50% with the RX 7900 XT over the $899 6950 XT. So it will be a heated battle between the two cards. But AMD will be releasing its cards a few weeks earlier in December, so they’ll have an advantage there.
