ASUS just unveiled its all-new 2023 gaming monitors, the ROG SWIFT OLED PG27AQDM and ROG SWIFT PRO 24″ 540Hz.
ASUS 2023 lineup of gaming monitors includes ROG SWIFT OLED and ROG SWIFT 600Hz designs
The ASUS ROG division is known to bring the best of the best to gamers and this year, they have two new ROG SWIFT monitors for gamers.
First up, we have the ASUS ROG SWIFT PG27AQDM, a 27-inch 1440p OLED gaming monitor. Known as Project “Endgame”, the ROG SWIFT OLED gaming monitor has a resolution of 2560 x 1440, 240Hz refresh rate, & 0.03ms response time. The screen uses an anti-glare micro-coating and features 99% DCI-P3, 135% sRGB coverage with pre-calibration of Delta E < 2. It also features a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits with HDR enabled.
ASUS ROG has completely redesigned the look of the new SWIFT OLED gaming monitor, which comes with an emitter logo down the side, a matte black finish with plenty of RGB color accent panels and easy pass-through for cable management inside the stand itself. The assembly itself has a redesigned heatsink and vents that blow hot air out of the chassis making it deliver 5% lower temperatures compared to other OLED gaming displays.
The second monitor is the ASUS ROG SWIFT PRO PG248QP that was unveiled last year but the specs seem to have experienced a bump since its first release. The original design was supposed to be a 500Hz panel but ASUS has upgraded that to a 540Hz TN panel. AUO was also making a 540Hz panel and the latest ROG SWIFT PRO may use similar technology.
As for other details, the ASUS ROG SWIFT PRO PG248QP is completely aimed at e-sports gamers with a screen size of 24 inches and FHD (1920 x 1080) resolution. The world’s fastest refresh rate gaming monitor comes with support for NVIDIA’s G-SYNC and NVIDIA’s Reflex Analyzer. The stand acts as a claw that can be retracted to allow for a smaller base footprint and to allow competitive gamers more room for peripherals. The ASUS ROG SWIFT PRO 540Hz monitor also comes with a built-in ESS SAC for more precise and accurate audio output.
